Growing up in northern Florida, we didn't get a real Fall. Lots of pine trees meant that we still had to rake needles up from the yard, but there were no awesome colors as a reward. That's all changed since I moved to Minnesota and one of the things I love most about this state is the brilliant display of leaves as we head into Winter.
Most people I know here have a tradition of going for a special walk or drive along their favorite route just to look at leaves. In fact, Diane and I just did that this week and I'm planning to get the pictures up on Flickr later today.
