Hellbent for Letterbox | The Outlaw Josey Wales (1976)

Pax and I talk about Pax's second-favorite Western of all time; a movie that I'd never seen before. But there's also time for quick reviews of 1953's The Lawless Breed and Daniel A Edwards' book, Billy the Kid: An Autobiography.

Dragonfly Ripple | Iron Man 2 (2010)

David and I discuss the first MCU sequel and talk about whether it stands on its own as a story or if it's mostly just there to set up future films. And starting with this episode, we begin ranking the MCU movies and villains so far.

Hellbent for Letterbox | Jonah Hex (2010)

Pax and I raise the corpse of the DC Comics box office flop to figure out if it's as bad as its reputation and maybe even how to fix it. Jonah Hex stars Josh Brolin, Megan Fox, and John Malkovich and was written (in part) by the notorious Neveldine and Taylor.

Pax also talks about the 1985 Jonah Hex comics reboot, Hex, and I wander away from comics completely to review 1952's Bend of the River, starry Jimmy Stewart, Julie Adams, and Rock Hudson.

All this and Pony Express!

Dragonfly Ripple | Iron Man (2008)

David and I continue our Marvel Cinematic Universe watch-through with the movie that launched the series-proper. We focus on characters and the seeds that grow the universe, but also have a fun discussion about just who Nick Fury was thinking of when he said, "You think you're the only superhero?"
