Dracula visits the Planet of the Apes and fights Man-Thing

I apologize for the misleading subject line, but that was my first hope when I saw this cover; before I realized that it wasn't a team-up, but just a British collection of three, unrelated comics. Missed opportunity, guys. BIG missed opportunity.

I found the cover at Panelology, but don't blame him.

This is amazing. I have to repost this as my cover of the week. You find the greatest things.

Ha! Thanks!

Back at you. I don't tell you this enough, but your blog is wonderful.

Hello Mr M - this may well seem like one of the oddest of the Marvel UK reprint comics from the '70s, but it was a powerful brew for a teenage mind back then. I used to delivere copies of this when I was a newspaperboy during long months when my parents had decided that it was time for me to read less - or actually no - comic books. It was something of a torture to be posting these through people's letter-boxes while I knew I'd never get to read them myself. No time to stand and read it in the street either! I can actually recall the front doors of the three houses which used to cruelly take these comic books from me ...

Thanks for that story. It's easy to forget how powerful comics can be and yours is a strong testimonial.

I can see why you might hope for a team up! Mike Ploog drew all of these strips at various times, he would have been a good choice for it.
