BUY MY STUFF: Amazon Women and the Nazi Gold

Hey! My jungle girl story is out! Woo HOO!

When Drive-Ins Attack is a four-issue, full-color, anthology mini-series inspired by drive-ins and grindhouse movies. All four issues are available right now from IndyPlanet.

My story with Earl Geier - "Amazon Women and the Nazi Gold" - is in the first issue along with Dwight Macpherson and Valerio Giangiordano's "They Came from Outer Space." Because of the grindhouse homage, it's not one for the kids. In fact, the only strict direction editor Rich Stahnke gave us was that we had to include the Four Bs: Bullets, Blood, Beasts, and Boobs. I like to think that Earl and I were fairly tasteful about how to work all that in, but we certainly did get it all in, so keep that in mind if you think you might be offended by any of that. The language, while easily PG-rated, is also not kid-friendly.

I haven't actually seen all the art from my story yet, but here's what's on IndyPlanet's preview page:

It probably won't be available in most stores. I can't image Diamond Distribution taking a chance on a book like this in today's climate. I'm sure I can get some into Twin Cities shops and I'll have some at WizardWorld Chicago and FallCon. The best way to get a copy right now though will be through the IndyPlanet site. While you're there, take a look at the other three issues too. There are werewolves, prehistoric man-eating birds, gunfighters, and at least one page of gorillas wearing diving helmets.

Looks dang cool to me! You can count on having me as a customer! Of course, I'll tell some friends...then they'll tell some friends, etc., etc., etc...
