But as I made the list, I was also reminded of all the movies that I wanted to see this year, but never got around to for a variety of reasons. So, by way of explaining why you won't see Toy Story 3 or Harry Potter 7.1 on the big list, here are - in alphabetical order - all the movies that I wish I could've caught in the theater in 2010. Some of them (Harry Potter) I hope to still see on the Big Screen, but I'll have to wait for most until they hit the Netflix.
I'm tempted to comment on why I want to see each of the following movies or - better yet - why I missed them, but I'll resist that. If you really want to know why any of these appear here, I'll be happy to go into detail in the comments.

There are a lot I haven't seen, either. The Girl Who Played with Fire was great. I hadn't heard of Monsters. Thanks for the suggestions. The Joneses looked so depressing to me. You'll have to let me know. I hated The Squid and the Whale, I thought it'd be similar. Anyway...
Centurion, Girl who Played with Fire and the Red Riding Trilogy are all on Netflix instant view.
Monsters I would not pay more then $1 to see...
Celeste, the trailer I saw for The Joneses looked funny, so I hope it's not depressing. I don't have a lot of patience for movies that leave me feeling worse when I come out than when I went in.
Charles, thanks for the Netflix tip. I just got an iPod Touch, so I think I'll try those out on that!
all of them are on my to watch list, but I have been falling asleep right after putting the girls to sleep lately so I have been missing my chance to watch them!
Don't feel bad. I managed exactly TWO (2) films in theaters last year.
Sherlock Holmes on Jan 1st and True Grit on Dec 25th. That's a biiiig gap.
I imagine that the upside of that is that your seen:enjoyed ratio is excellent.
My seen:enjoyed ratio is always rather high thanks to my impeccable (knowledge of my) taste.
