Today would have been J.R.R. Tolkien's 115th birthday.Not sure that anyone would want to read the trilogy he became famous for, Tolkien wrote about The Lord of the Rings that "my work has escaped from my control. I have produced a monster... a complex, rather bitter and rather terrifying romance."
