I will admit to being slightly disappointed that Mr Brooks didn't mine the novel for small moments of Black Comedy such as Count Dracula showing Mr Harker the door at his request and quite casually amusing himself with poor Jonathan's response to seeing a pack of slavering mind-controlled wolves between him and safety (Not to mention most of the bits with Mr Quincey P. Morris that don't involve him dying with tragic gallantry).
