It's a new guy. A rookie they're adding to the squad played by Wes Chatham.
What do you think of the show this season? It's been hard for me to adjust to the radical shift in tone, but I can't say I don't like it. I certainly roll my eyes at it a lot more than I used to, but I'm glad not to have yet another storyline about the wives trying to make ends meet on a military salary.
You have it exactly. The wives stuff was played out (not that I don't like those characters, I really do). Turning them into spies is perhaps unrealistic, but still relatively entertaining. Still, I'd like them to get back to a normal family life in the future.
As for the boys, it's been getting progressively more "Jason Bourne" since Season 3, and I'm a fan of that kind of thing. Jonas as badass action hero suits me fine, even if I was a big fan of the "realistic" first seasons.
So the show has changed, and it's still on my favorite, but for different reasons than before. How's that?
Sounds about right. I'm there with you; I just think I'm taking longer to adjust. The lever in my brain that switches between Realistic Military Drama and Awesome Spy Show is just rusty and hard to move. :)

Is this Bridget or some other character?

Ah that's it then. My brain is wired so that the gates are wide open between the two.
