
You all know how much I love the historical and/or literary mysteries.
For Edgar is in the latter category since it's about a serial killer called "The Raven" who bases his or her crimes on gruesome deaths from Edgar Allan Poe stories.
That's a great premise, but it doesn't tell me anything about the execution. Fortunately,
Bookgasm's Rod Lott takes care of that when he calls it "a worthy successor to
Silence of the Lambs."
