Dragonfly Ripple | Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
David and I hash out why this is one of David's least favorite Marvel movies, but one of my favorites. There's some Agents of Shield discussion along the way, but mostly it's all spies and lies and the mortality of Nick Fury.
If you show David any Robert Redford conspiracy thriller it has to be "Three Days on the Condor", from which the plot of this movie borrows heavily.
In "First Avenger" we established Cap as the leader of the Hollowing Commandos as prep for him to be the leader of the Avengers in the next movie. Now it seems that wherever Cap goes he will always be surrounded by a team. I wonder if that's a choice made to contrast Tony Stark's individual narcarissim by giving Steve a circle that seems magneticly drawn to him.

I've never seen Three Days of the Condor, so thanks for that recommendation!
I think you're absolutely right about Cap and teams. Great observation. I'm looking forward to rewatching Civil War with that in mind.
