I was on the road for most of the day on my day job, so not much posting today. It is worth mentioning though that it's Rex Stout's 120th birthday.I get my love of mystery stories from my mom, and Stout's Nero Wolfe character was one of her favorite detectives. Stout published 46 novels in the Nero Wolfe series, starting with Fer-de-Lance in 1934, which he'd written two years earlier at the age of 46.

Nero Wolfe is by far one of my favorite detectives; the books are wonderful & the Hutton/Chaykin series was beautifully faithful.
I even went so far as to get the Nero Wolfe cookbook!
I bought that cookbook for my mom one year! I'd forgotten all about that.
