I like most of those movies and have loved the last two.

I'm mildly curious about Terminator: Genesys, but am burned out by all the reboots and how convoluted that continuity has become. On the other hand, I kind of like the premise of Genesys as a sort of "what if" episode, but it's going to take some great reviews to get me into the theater.

Totally forgot about Crouching Tiger 2. Loved the first one and I'm definitely up for that.Michael Mayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12514945570212261283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7857882.post-30805527276755567112015-01-16T23:12:13.215-06:002015-01-16T23:12:13.215-06:00Daniel Radcliffe is having a very good run, so tha...Daniel Radcliffe is having a very good run, so that Frankenstein flick looks keen.

I've already heard from the detractors, but I too am deeply interested in Jupiter Ascending. I hope it's as good as it looks (and no, detractors, I don't think it looks like video game cut scenes).

I thought Ant-Man's trailer was on the generic side - it certainly downplays the comedic aspects - but I'm totally on board anyway.

Avengers, Spectre, Tomorrowland. Yes, yes, yes.

A new Del Toro? Maybe this time I won't wait for it to come out on DVD years later. Pacific Rim is, I think, the only one of his movies I've seen in theaters. I know. Shame on me.

As you know, I'm not a Star Wars fan, something many geeks would call a fatal flaw, so I'm not particularly excited about The Force Awakens. I'll see it though, and in George Lucas' absence, I may end up loving it.

Otherwise, hm, I'm intrigued by Chappie even if I hate the name - Short Circuit for a new generation? Mad Max for sure, I also need to watch all the old Road Warrior flicks before then. No love for Terminator: Genesys? Haha I'm only kidding. Then again, it could turn out to be a good time travel mind bender. Crouching Tiger 2 w/Donnie Yen and Michelle Yeoh? You've just named my two favorite modern kung fu stars. I'm not missing Tintin either, or Doctor Strange, and probably not MI5. Intrigued by Doc Savage and the possibility of a big screen Day of the Triffids.

Anyway, lots of cool genre fare in 2015, it looks like.Siskoidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08266365376486695812noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7857882.post-207369450599462042015-01-16T08:31:06.182-06:002015-01-16T08:31:06.182-06:00You nailed a lot of my BIG anticipated movies. St...You nailed a lot of my BIG anticipated movies. Star Wars, Avengers 2, Tomorrowland, Spectre and Victor Frankenstein (why ISN'T that part of the shared monster-verse?!).

I was going to do my own anticipated article, but I'll give you a sneak peak. I want to see in 2015: Fast 7, Tarantino's Hateful Eight and Mission: Impossible 5 dir by Chris McQuarrie.

We'll see if I actually get around to finishing my own article.

PaxPaxtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04883124901219059661noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7857882.post-89581965028107773802015-01-16T07:50:41.074-06:002015-01-16T07:50:41.074-06:00Some of these I haven't heard of til now! I was hoping for a new Friday the 13th in November, but that is looking less and less likely. :(Wings1295https://www.blogger.com/profile/08045644215235749353noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7857882.post-3330762319234438812015-01-16T07:27:01.119-06:002015-01-16T07:27:01.119-06:00I'm not putting a whole lot of stock in this a...I'm not putting a whole lot of stock in this alleged Universal monsters shared universe.

I want to be excited about Jupiter Ascending because its one of the few original property to make this list, but it just looks like fluff with big sci fi action for the guys and the rags to riches romance for the girls and not much else.

Age of Ultron tops my list because it looks like we're building on whats come before and raising the stakes, plus the new trailer shows Cap and Tony looking to compromise their different ways of thinking but respect each other as friends and not just butt heads again. It reminds me a lot of Han and Luke's friendship in "Empire".

While I am interested in new Star Wars, I just can't be as excited as this guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJgLa3eKMYsErik Johnson Illustratorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11184274387021011687noreply@blogger.com
