Valley of the Dinosaurs on DVD

Hanna-Barbera only made 16 episodes of Valley of the Dinosaurs, which probably explains how I not only completely missed it as a kid, but also forgot it even existed until a year ago. Since I was reminded about it though, I've been extremely curious to see some actual episodes. Now that's possible thanks to Warner Bros.' Archive collection. It's overpriced at $30 for 16 episodes, but they've got me hooked anyway and are reeling me in.

I used to watch it and loved it a lot. It will probably be among my next purchases...and I can add it to my Hanna Barbera cartoons and Lou Scheimer cartoons...Probably my favorite collection is the planet of the apes.....now My mouth is watering for this one.

I've been wanting the Planet of the Apes cartoon for a while too, but have been waiting until I could afford the giant ape-head Complete PotA DVD case. I should just bite the bullet and go ahead and get it.

I've been doing the same thing as you regarding "Planet of the Apes" I remember liking Valley of the Dinosaurs, but not much about it. I do still have some of the comic books. I'll be curious to hear your thoughts about the show. $30 is a bit steep, but I may give in and get it.
